Thursday Thoughts

"What we feel , we attract . What we imagine , we become" - Dr.Maxwell Maltz
It's finally Thursday! This weekend Caira and I will be swamped with final project preps and other homework but we're definitely trying to make time for a much needed outing, most likely coffee & shopping. Hope everyone has had a pretty productive week thus far and may the weekend bring whatever you may be searching for , whether it be relaxation , excitement, retail therapy, or all of the above =)  .
Until next time .

Philadelphia International Flower Show

Last week I had the opportunity of attending the annual Philadelphia Flower Show at the Convention Center. The theme this year was Springtime in Paris. It was definitely a great experience. There were tons of people in attendance, great exhibits, and lots of unique items to buy from the different shops. It was extremely hard for me to choose which photographs I'd share with you all. Unfortunately, I can't post them all because I took over 150 photographs that day! I must say, the individuals responsible for creating each exhibit are BEYOND talented and innovative. If you haven't already done so, I recommend visiting the show next year and experiencing the wonders this event has to offer!

I decided to get into
the spirit of the event
by wearing a vintage flower
print tapestry jacket.

Spring Cleaning !

Spring is just around the corner and just like many of you , Caira & I will be refining our closets to get ready for the beautiful days ahead. In addition to cleaning up our wardrobes, we will also be making additions and renovations to the blog , so please excuse the constant changes as we work to improve the blog to meet our own luxe standards ;)!

Who doesn't love a discount ?

As stated in the previous post, Christine & I were at Anthropologie recently just browsing through the sale section when we stumbled across some great denim parkas that were on sale. The jackets were over 50% off!! The original price was $128 but we were lucky enough to only pay $29.99!!! We weren't expecting to spend any money there, how could we turn down such a great deal?

Thankfully, the weather has been
nice these past few days and
we were able to break them in
before spring time!

Spring is just around the corner, have you snagged any great deals for the upcoming season? Caira and I created a strict shopping guide to follow and have been doing well with sticking to those items listed! What`s on your spring time essentials shopping list this year?

Immortal Uncommon Resale Shop's 14th Birthday !

Christine and I were invited to the Immortal Uncommon Resale Shop's 14th birthday event through Adee Lawal of Muuahhh Vintage Boutique . There were tons of designer as well as vintage clothes and accessories. Some of our favorite items were the gorgeous floor length fur coats and the St. John suits. We met the store's our, Caren, who was extremely hospitable as well as those who were helping around the store. They definitely made the experience much more pleasant. We hope to visit the store again in the near future! If you are interested in stopping by, the shop is locatedat 125 S 18th Street in Center City, Philadelphia.

Afterwards, we headed to Anthropologie and Barney's Co-Op (Sorry there are no photographs from there. The store was closing shortly after we arrived). Below are some beautiful photos from Anthropologie. The architecture of the store is amazing! By the way, we ran across some cute denim parkas that were originally $128 on sale for $29.99, WHAT A STEAL! There will be pics of those in the next post.
